If so, can you do me a favor? I would be greatly appreciated if you can save my Lotus 123 file as Microsoft Excel file type. My Excel application cannot open my Lotus 123 file.

Will your Lotus 123 open it? If so, try saving in a different file format. Also, if you can try opening the Lotus 123 file in other apps, and see if it comes up as a tab delimited text file. Youcould then import the TAB delimited text file to Excel.
