Although I am a Martina fan,I am still happy about what happend today.
With this she has PROVED that she IS capable of winning a slam.
It was a stroke a luck with which she missed the title,but that's ok. There's nothing much attached to this slam SPECIFICALLY.
IMO,Martina will be playing atleast 25 more slams.So there are too many chances,and I believe that she will come triumphant.

I dont believe I'm saying this, but after a long time I believe that Hingis is a SOLID contender for FO 2002!!!

i hardly thing martina will feel that right now.
she's probably just thinking, "I blew it. I cant do it."

but give her some time and she'll say "I blew it. I couldnt do it. Next time I wont do the same thing." Of course, how fast that will take depends on Melanie's support on her. Melanie always takes her through the tough times
