what would your reaction be if stevenson won the us open (long shot i know). would you be like i knew she had the ability and all that sort of thing or would you be like what the hell how did this happen, would you consider it a fluke?

That rather depends on why the hate is dumped on them. When it's not their fault, sure.

I don't hate Alex, but she is about as likely to win the U.S.Open as pigs are to fly past my window.
