It sounds like the commentators are saying Ghee-Zheer-moe.

Next question, why does Andre always walk like he has doo doo in his shorts?

two ll's in spanish are pronounced as a y. so the correct pronunciation is ghee-yer-mo, with an emphasis on the YER. and I don't know why Andre walks like a do do bird.

lol my mother asked the same question about James.

Another question, does Coria have any Asian connection... I heard in Argentina there have a number of people with a Japanese background...... just wondering.

LMAO, I prefer that he walks like there is a stick up his ass. :p

"Ghee-yehr-moe" is correct.

andre is bow-legged ( think that's the expression). if he stands up straoght, his feet point a little inwards like this:

/ \

instead of :

\ /

james blake is carrying iced martinis on his lower back shelf. that's why he walks like that - he doesn't want to drop an olive or spill them.

this also depends on the area. Caribbean Spanish, ie Puerto Rico, Dominican Republica and Cuba pronounce ll as a j ie. ella =eja y ellos= ejos Guillermo would be Guijermo. One of my uncles name is Guillermo

guillermo

gu as "g" in the word "go"
i as in "ee"
ll as in y or j in "jog" (depends on country)

well, yeah, some forms of Spanish like to emphasis ll's by saying J but like elementary Spanish, it's a y. It was funny cuz my first Spanish teacher was from Cuba and she kept saying jes for yes, every y word was j-word. it was hilarious!

I always thought Guillermo was cute! :hearts: And I like his playing style and court presence. I hope it's a Juan Carlos/Guillermo final. That would be my dream come true!

It's pronounced "GRILL-ELMO"

He was named by a bunch of Sesame Street-hating cult members.
