A rare but great win. I can’t believe she has fallen down to 220 in the world. Sad times.

Is this her first win of any kind since Dubai qualies back in February??

Grammar girl was at the time overranked vulture, now she is just falling more and more on rankings,rightfully..but how sad, even losing vs. Bouchard lol

Bouchard got lucky with draw ,she would beat Ce and Huang girl too..but that would be it.

Grammatikopoulou led 5-3 :help::help::help:. And those dropshot attempts :spit:.

It's a federal holiday in the US, yet the crowd made Shenzhen look packed .

Nice job Genie :cheer: She played pretty well in the doubles event last week in Vegas so this wasn’t very surprising

The other chick lost against Wuarin, so it's just a minor surprise.
Another day another fix, starts missing randomly and do Dropshots when she was in the lead. This girl trying for an Oscar.

Bouchard will play McNally next meaning if she loses she won't get into the AO Qualifying Tournament. Once her Auckland Points come off she will be outside the Top 300 anyways.

She actually plays (8) Di Lorenzo in the 2nd round. Curious what would happen if she didn't make the AO Q draw. Would she get a WC, or would she be left out?
