Daniela is once again going to start her season in Perth for the Hopman Cup. This year she will play with Karol Kucera who is ranked 33. They just missed a seeding.

The other teams are

1- USA- Serena/Blake
2- Australia - Molik/Lleyton
3- Belgium - Kim/Xavier
4- Russia - Myskina/Safin

Slovak Republic - Dani and Kucera
France - Mauresmo/Santoro
Czech Republic - Strycova/Novak

Playoff between
Canada - Drake/Dancevice
Hungary - Mandula/Savolt

It is a very tough draw particularly on the women's side, 4 top 10ers and Dani who we all know is top 10
The groups haven't been made yet, so don't know which group Dani is in.

I can't wait, Ihave live coverage all week, for all the day and night sessions

The draw has been made they play Belgium first, then Qualifiers and then Australia. Interesting hoe they made the draw with the two seeds belgium and australia playing each other second not third like normal, but anyway.

Daniela will start with a tough match against Kim
Then either Mandula or Drake
Then Moik - get revenge Dani, I know she will

Seriously Daniela should beat both Molik and Mandula. I still can't understand why Australia are seeded ahead of Belgium, except for Bias ofcourse by the time it starts hewitt won't be top 10 yet Kim at lowest will be 2 yet australia are seeded above them not fair any way that is my rant about that in the wrong forum Sorry......

I'd like Daniela to win, regardless of whether or not she is playing against an Australian. I won't go for an Australian simply because he/she is Australian. My favourite tennis player is Slovakian, my favourite racing driver is Colombian and my favourite cricket team is from the West Indies. I pick my favourites based on qualities other than nationality .

Hopefully the ABC will show the matches because they should be interesting.

Oh same maybe I made my point wrong I want Dani to win all her matches no matter who her opponent is as well, well except when she plays Kim ofcourse but I want Kim to win regardless of who she is playing. I'm an aussie so want them to do well, but want Belgium and Slovakia to do well too.
