Yes, I think Tammy can make the top 20, because she has a good draw and should make the semi finals, and she is capable of beating testud or anyone in the other quarter of the draw.
She lost in round 2 here last year, so if she can make it past the 2nd round she will only gain pionts.

well assuming nobody passes her in rankings, she will be in the top 20 at the end of the week.
schett (20) had 87 points to defend this week and isn't playing anywhere, so she falls to 23.
tammy although she is defending 24 points this week, will still be 9 points clear of raymond if tammy loses first round.
if however tammy loses first round, we have to hope that hantuchova loses her second round match against bedanova which is 50-50!
to put it simply! we need tammy to go far to be sure of her spot in the top 20 by the time new ranks come out!
