A 'High Quality Win' in this context, is a win over a payer in the top ten now, who was in the top ten when the defeat occurred. So a win over Dokic in last February doesn't count. A win over Dokic at Sanex would. Using her as an example, Jelena is two 'High Quality Wins' in2001. That's MATCHES, not tournaments. It's a bit of a tough standard, but its fair. for example ....
Jelena Dokic -2 'High Quaility' wins for the year.
Rome(May) Mauresmo 7-6(3) 6-1
Tokyo (Sept) Kim Clijsters 7-5, 6-4
So High Quality Wins are hard to get. Many players will have none. Analyze whoever you like this way. See what kind of year they had!
