Last I heard she was thinking about possibly having elbow surgery. Does anyone know if she had it and was it successful? Such a shame she never got going after her comeback.

I don't think she got the operation. If you were justineheninfan I would answer with this:

But as you aren't I'll just say I have no idea.
Thanks, I was just thinking that had she gone for the operation that something Venus said this week might have resonated with her in that there's a misconception that tennis players have to retire when they hit 30 and she might be tempted into testing the elbow out to see if she could compete on the WTA tour again.I don't think she got the operation.
If you look at her, looks like she lost +/- 5 to 8 kg. of muscles.
She was at the OG for 2 weeks and made some very sweet clips where she talks to Belgian athletes and also IOC presidat Jaques ROGGE. If you understand French, you can re-watch tehm here

Apparently she opted for dental surgery with the removal of her horse teeth instead.Last I heard she was thinking about possibly having elbow surgery. Does anyone know if she had it and was it successful? Such a shame she never got going after her comeback.
99% sure she won't and 100% not in the coming years.I thought she opted not to get the surgery. Justine could still come back, but I don't know for what.
Seeing as you posted here, it appears you interpret Pocahontas' gesture as meaning 'a whole world of... (fucks)', rather than what is intended with the gif.If you were justineheninfan I would answer with this:

Don't miss her one bit.![]()
You obviously do not appreciate tennis diversity, and a great champion.Don't miss her one bit.![]()
"elbow injury." You don't lose to a top player in Kuznetsova tightly with an "elbow injury."
She has/had an elbow injury just like Venus has Sjogren's syndrome. And when it comes to tennis, I'd say the former is more annoying."elbow injury." You don't lose to a top player in Kuznetsova tightly with an "elbow injury."
The statement on her website said scans had shown that the tennis she had played leading into and at the Australian Open had caused further damage to the elbow. She gave it a go to see if her elbow could withstand the strain of playing and it couldn't.Before Justine checked out she managed to hand Ivanovic a smackdown in Hopman Cup.
I do kind of miss her. Her second retirement was a bit strange because she was still able to play whole matches. Her elbow didn't do a Mary Pierce or anything...it obviously affected her 'cause she was playing terribly (except against Ana
), but it didn't look like it called for immediate re-retirement.
