I mean when playing have u had a matchpoint or points then lost!I have twice!

Last year i was playing my friend and i was up 5-4 30-40 on his serve when i wacked this return staight at his feet and he just reflexed it back and hit a winner it turned the match around and he won 7-5

Then this year. After recovering from Tendonitis in my wrists from October till January i beat him twice 4-6 6-1 6-3 and 6-4 7-5 then after that i haven't beat him the scores have been 6-1 6-2 twice 6-0 6-4 6-3 6-1 and then once 6-0 6-0 After that match i played him and got to 6-5 and serving for the match i staopped being aggressive and let him do errors and it got me to 40-30 where i did a HUGE double fault because of nerves then i had another on ad and lost it i then lost the match 7-6 (5) in the tiebreaker i was 3-2 up and noone had won a point on serve when i had an easy forehand and missed if i would have got that i would have won 7-6

I only lost one match this season 6-1 7-6, so I didn't have any match points in that match. In the other matches I won quite easily. There's one guy though, who always gives me a good match. It was him I lost to. But when I played him the next time, I won. He was 3-0 ahead in the first, but I came back to 3-3. Then he was at 5-3, but again I came back to 5-5. We had 6-6 and in the tie-break I won 7-5. In the second set I didn't really have any problems...

only wasted match points once, when I lose it tends to be a bit of a blowout. This time I was up 5-3 40-30 in the 3rd on my serve but he played really well and hit a winner, and I ended up losing the tiebreak.

I've saved match points loads of times though! Against this guy I was down 1-6 0-3, then came back in the 2nd set, then was down 2-5 15-40 in the 3rd... ended up winning that one 1-6, 6-3, 7-5. (He did totally choke in the 2nd set though.) And the last time I played, I was down 6-2, 5-4 40-0 and ended up winning. Basically, I tend to play well when I'm behind in a match.

Thankfully, no, but I was close once. I was playing a match up 6-0, and 5-3 and I had 2 matchpoints, and I ended up taking the match too lightly, trying new things out instead of closing out the match with what I had done the whole time and it cost me, because I lost that game, and I lost another matchpoint at 5-4 and went on to lose the set 7-5. Third set was very close, thankfully I was able to finish it off 7-5 in the 3rd but I definetly learned my lesson from that one, lol.

I can't say how many match points I screwed. There are just too many of them lol.
Fortunately I think I won more matches facing match points than lost having match points.

I remember two matches. One where I was led 0/6 0/3 and I came back to win the second 6/4 and in the third I was leading 5/2; screwed one match point (if I remember well) and ended up winning 7/6 after facing two match points.
In the second match I was led 1/5 in the first and came back to win 7/5, lost the second set and came back from 0/4 (with serve to my opponent) and finally won 7/5.
Those are the two come backs I'm the most proud of.

Thankfully I have never wasted a match point!!!! My best victory in a tournament was when I was playing the No1 seed in the Quarters!!!! Everyone thought that I had a chance but I didnt believe them. It turned out that they were right!!!! I won 7-5, 6-1!!!! Well, once, in a doubles match. I think we were up 6-5 40-0 in the 3rd set and still lost.
The ugliest situation was when I was up 6-0 5-4 30-0 in an important final and lost 6-0 6-7 1-6.

But once I saved 6 match-points and won. That was great.

I don't recall wasting a match point, but I remember playing a JV doubles match when I was in 10th grade against these little 9th grade punks, and we had set points at 5-3 in the first set, and we blew that game and didn't win another game... 5-7 0-6.

I think I broke my racket after that match

Never wasted a mp or won being down mp, but i did waste a set point once. i was up 5-4 and had set point at 30-40 on his serve, but he got a big serve in and i couldn't do anything about it. lost the set 7-5.

Also blew a 5-2 lead once to lose 7-5 but also came back from a 2-5 deficit once to win 7-5. Also came back from a 1-5 deficit and having been down a set point at 3-5 but came back to win 7-5

The closest came this year in my doubles match ... And it worked on both sides (even though neither were match points)...

The match itself was tied 2-2 (in high school team play).

The other team was leading 6-3 4-3, and up 40-0 on their serve. We managed to come back and break to go 4-4. THan took the set 6-4. Than in the third we were up 5-4 , and had 40-0 , 3 match points. We got broken, and went to 5-5.. Than at 6-5 we went up 40-0 again, than got to deuce. We finally pulled it out for a 3-6 6-4 7-5.

I have never lost a match in tournament after having match point, but once i lost after having won 6/0 the first set ended up losing 0/6 6/4 6/1 and in prctice once i remembered i was up against my teaching pro 6/2 5/1 and had three match points along the match and lost 2/6 7/6 7/6.

Only once i came back saving match point to win at 4/5 third set in a 3 and a half hour marathon 3/6 6/2 7/6.

But leads and trailings can be changed, you can not win a match by only leading and you can not win without a lead, but it depends on how your concentration level is. In most matches there are a lot of chances or moments where you can comeback or start choking, most of them when you are about to buil a 5 something lead, and of course when serving to win. But most important is to stay calm and try not to fall right away, but the good thing in tennis is that you WILL ALWAYS HAVE A NEXT TRY OR A NEXT CHANCE..........

I played for my high school team a few years, and I'm pretty good when I'm on, but I'm usually erratic. Playing this one guy in a 10-game proset with no tiebreak, I was down 0-9 after making probably 100 errors. Well, by some stroke of luck, I relaxed (I play like shit once I make the first error in a match because I get pissed) and I saved probably 10 match points and eventually got to 10-9 and had match points of my own. A combination of me choking (which I'm famous for) and my back being sore from playing such a long match, I eventually lost 13-11.

I was proud of my fight, but oh well. I play better when I'm behind or way ahead. In close matches I usually choke long before I get match points, lol... so I don't think I've lost after having match points any other times.

I also don't play well against people who I should crush. lol.

and i also lost that match in a thrid set tiebreak

in a doubles match i once played... we were up 6-1, 5-2 with 2 mp's and we hit four errors in a row and let the other team back in.. luckily we closed it out the next game 6-1, 6-3
