I recall Sonya Jeyaseelan beating somebody at Wimbledon 1998 6-0, 0-6, 12-10. Very odd! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I believe this was in qualifying.

I don't think there has ever been such a match. 2 games lost by the eventual set winners may be the record. (Thus, a total of 20 games played in a full 3 set match.)

But, if you are looking for matches with 3 6-0 sets, Tilden recorded consecutive triple-bagels in 1925. (He won at least 8 consecutive sets at 0.)

Hey Disposablehero,

Anna did have a similar scoreline in 99. It was a first round match against Amanda Coetzer @ the Acura with Anna losing 1-6, 6-1, 1-6. I remember @ the time thinking the scoreline was really odd, but Coetzer states in a post-match interview that several games went to deuce and that in the incredible heat the scoreline was much harder than it looked.

this thing happened also to Martina Hingis. It was the French Open but I forgot the year and her opponent. It is when she came back from an injury and if my memory serves me right, it was her match from injury.

She won 0-6, 6-0, 6-0. <img src="graemlins/angel.gif" border="0" alt="[Angel]" />
