is it just me or did she got a little more punch on her shots? Also her body seems to be more toned down. Granted it's not enough to counter all the other power players but she is not a pushover as far as power goes and everyone thought of her
I loved that one :lol:Zauber said:She has a tough draw this week.
Mirza, Myskina, Sharapova,Davenport, Henin
I think its a fifty fifty proposition against Myskin and Sharapova
less of a chance against Davenport and Hengis
i am sad to say but I think she will not go far in this draw.
I hope I am wrong
Yes she has and we all noticed it during the Australian Open. Her serve has improved so much. :bounce:ezekiel said:is it just me or did she got a little more punch on her shots? Is Martina `s game strong enough after two weeks training ?Ryan said:I think Hingis should beat Nastya relatively easy...at her peak she's never had problems with counter-punchers. It will depend on how well Martina plays, hopefully she's up to the test.
I think so as well. Nastya will make lots of UE's in their meeting because she's not accustomed to generating the pace and of course, Martina's genius court sense will take care of the rest.Ryan said:I think Hingis should beat Nastya relatively easy...at her peak she's never had problems with counter-punchers. Not really. Hingis increased her weight training circa 2000, but it did not make her hit harder, though it helped her avoiding running out of gas in long matches (compare RG final 1999 and AO QF 2001...). She does have bit more zip in her serve compared to pre-retirement, but that is more of matter of technique.ezekiel said:is it just me or did she got a little more punch on her shots?
That's a stupid question. You're saying that after only two weeks off a player can't compete at a high level? :retard:migi said:Is Martina `s game strong enough after two weeks training ?
It helps a lot for two weeks `s training. I am looking forward to seeing Hingis comes out with powerfull games, at least improved serve significantly. Her little bit improved serve right now does not affect at all agaisnt top 10. Myskina will swallow her in 2nd round.Andrew.. said:That's a stupid question. Nice to see you back. Umm....but this time don't be scared to post when/if she gets to the final.migi said:I do not know how far she will pass at Dubai tournament. Did she train hardly with power in the last two weeks.
Will Hingis pass 2rd round for good ?Martian KC said:Nice to see you back. Umm....but this time don't be scared to post when/if she gets to the final.
