i know there are a lot of russians on the way up but at the acura classic and this week justine has been facing a lot of them. at the acura classic she faced dementieva, petrova and kuznetsova in consecutive matches. and this week she has faced petrova, bovina, dementieva and will also face krasnoroutskaya. is justine the only one having to do this? i don't think many players in back to back tournaments (for justine it is back to back) have had to do this. i wonder whether anyone else has had to do this. is justine the russian killer?

Anyone going deep in a draw nowadays is going to have to beat several Russians.
Kim beat Maria and Sveta in L.A., then lost to Lina.
Suarez beat Lena B. in L.A., then Sveta and Vera in Toronto before Lina won the semis.
The Russians, in several cases, are young and gaining experience.
Today is great for Lina, win or lose.
