Rising hard court star Kenin, 20 y/o, def aging, 31.5 y/o, clay courter Siegemund 6-4,6-2.
But great comeback by Siegemund from very serious knee injury two years ago.
Kenin ranked #108 in 2017, #52 in 2018 and #20 now. Kenin could be in the top 10 in 2020.
Kenin's powerful compact groundies were too much for the looping groundies of the clay courter Siegemund.

But Siegemund still has the sexyist bubble butt walk in tennis.

Siegemund unlikely to reach the same heights again pre-injury but if she can maintain a top 100 ranking over the next few years that’s something to be proud of after what could have been a career ending situation for a late bloomer on tour.

Kenin was very impressive, but that second set was a lot harder work than the first. Siegemund played some glorious shots, even if ultimately to no avail.

Just as an aside, how many of you were listening to the feed which had an English commentator who persisted in talking about "So-fire" Kenin and Laura "Sigg-mund?" I know it's been discussed to death, but how hard is it REALLY to say "So-fear?" And Laura's surname is certainly one of the easier ones to pronounce.
