[Grand Slam] Roland Garros 2010 - Champion: Sabine Lisicki

Welcome everyone to Roland Garros.

Here we have the second Grand Slam tournament of 2010 and the second ever Grand Slam Tournament for the TS3 Tour.

Entry/commitment is now open and the deadline before which players can is Friday the 21st of May. My birthday :angel:
The draw will be posted on Saturday the 22nd.



Surface

All matches are to be played on the Red Clay courts of Roland Garros.


Points

Round of 16: 150 pts
Quarter Final: 250 pts
Semi Final: 350 pts
Final: 450 pts
Champion: 750 pts

Quarterfinals:
S. Williams def. Safina W/O
Lisicki def. Watson 6-3 3-6 6-0

Capriati def. Jankovic 6-4 6-3


Semifinals:
Lisicki def. S. Williams 6-7 7-6 6-4
V. Williams def. Capriati W/O


Finals:

Quarter Final (250 pts): Safina, Watson, Dementieva, Jankovic
Semi Final (350 pts): S. Williams, Capriati

You can get aced, however if you get use to returning way inside it becomes a huge advantage, you can return it so quick that when your the server you literally will not have time to properly return the ball. that is why itst banned it, was whats called a exploit of the game. Unfortunatly every game has exploits and ts3 biggest ones are returning inside the baseline and tramline serving.

Hmmm. Interesting rule. I'll definitely think about that one, thanks for bringing it up :speakles:

I feel the same way abot returning inside the baseline but since Safina and Venus are the only two who do it and Venus the only one who does it consisently, I've never bothered bringing it up.
