here's a (do I put it 'a' or not? :confused: ) news about Embree's comback

LINK

I teased her 'You wanna play, huh?' at UNLV invite last day, and she said sweetly

'no~~~'

guess it was a 'feint' :lol:

I also learned that Lauren's killer weapon is her backhand :)

MICH vs USC result officially proclaims that USC doubles is the best in the nation.

Be very very afraid, opponents! :lol:

USC will definitely field TWO teams at NCAA tourney,

Pulido/Ramos and Christian/Sanchez :bowdown:

preview of NCAA FINAL STAN UF

It's pretty certain that both teams will meet again.
(When you think #1 Stan can handsomely beat #4 UCLA 4-0,
something is wrong :lol: )

Singles

BARTE EMBREE ??
AHN WILL ??
GIBBS OYEN STAN
BURDETTE MATHER STAN
TAN JANOWICZ ??
LI CERCONE UF

Doubles

BARTE/BURDETTE OYEN/WILL
AHN/GIBBS EMBREE/MATHER
LI/MCVEIGH CERCONE/HITIMANA

UF singles #1 & 2 are interchangeable, no? (same as STAN
2,3)
UF MUST win the doubles pt otherwise, it's a foregone
conclusion, since it's THEIR infamous home court, Taube Stadium.

So I looked at Stanford's home schedule;

the opponents are;

UCLA
SMU
OREGON
WASH ST
USF
CAL
UTAH
ASU
UA
FSU
UW
SMC
USTA JUNIOR ALL STAR TEAM

It's pretty weak compared to other top schools.

UF has BU visiting them, UCLA too.
Maybe USTA junior all star team has the highest chance to beat
them? :haha:
They really leave nothing to chances, do they :D
Let's hope that CAL & ASU can step up :devil:

Baylor really has an ambitious schedule. Filled with matches against top teams;

3/6 ND
3/10 UCLA
3/14 MIAMI (home)
3/30 FLORIDA
4/6 CLEMSON
4/14 NORTHWESTERN

Wow :worship:

Hey.
I know a lot of players from US college, but I still not unerstand that rules. Students can't be pro? A lot of students play in ITF tournament in the middle of the year. They can do that? Could you tell me that Ahn, van Nguyen, Gibbs, Cako, Fink, Cohen, Krawczyk, Turewicz, Min, Hsu or Tsay plays for college? And they will play in tournaments after college?
Sorry for that questions, but I really dunno a lot of about college tennis.
Thanks for answer!

Van Nguyen, Krawczyk, Turewicz, Min, Tsay still junior, Fink graduated,
Gibbs, Cohen, Cako, Hsu in college.
I heard that if you don't accept the prize money you can compete during college, but others could tell more about this, I'm sure ;)

Brittany Blalock, former player for Cal Poly, is playing PQ for IW.

She got a bye for the 1st rd :lol:

Ah, Megan Falcon, former All American at LSU

is also playing. They might face each other

at the 3rd round.

------------

EDIT;

from the remaining bottom half;

Yasmin Schnack(former UCLA) also got a bye, she could meet Jeukeng.

Turewicz(Duke bound) also playing, could meet Krivencheva. Joanna Smith (ASU bound) possibly meets Boserup.

Alyssa Smith, Xepoleas(Purdue bound), Muhammad in the same subgroup.

Arina Rodionova seems to be the top seed in this bottom half.
