Mixed success today at the WTA qualifying tourmaments.

Elena Baltacha beat Belgian Caroline Maes in two sets 6-3 6-2 and goes on to face French star Stephanie Cohen-Aloro (who she beat at the 2005 Australian Open!!!).

However, Sarah Borwell lost her first round qualifying match to Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan 6-2 7-5.

Good Luck to Elena as she takes on Steophanie tomorrow!

She's hilarious. She's like another, crappier version of Screamapova (Sharapova). When she's behind, all that's different is she screams louder and louder, and even though she's even more one-dimensional and erratic, people say "Oh God, isn't she a fighter".

What a joke.

Elena is not one of the worst tennis players!!!

She has a medical condition which does hamper her career as well which doesnt help her cause. Can you qualify and reach the 3R of a Grand Slam???
