In a small ceremony this Sunday in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Eva Sorrenta and Anjelica de la Courtiere will be wed.

The two are both top players on the FWT Tour and are the first open lesbian couple on the tour. When asked why the wedding is so soon, the two responded that they didn't want the press to have a long time to make a huge commotion. Only the pair's closest friends and family will be invited. For security reasons, the location will not be disclosed to the public.

I am truly happy for two players that I consider my good friend. On our way to Thailand earlier this year, I got to know Anjie quiet well. I think she and Eva are the perfect couple and I only hope the best for them. I guess this will make it even more difficult to defeat them in doubles now <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> .
