JOIN THE FUN, JOIN THE CONTROVERSY, JOIN FWTA!
This thread has been set up to provide an avenue for new players looking to join the lucrative FWTA Tour.
FWTA stands for Fantasy Women's Tennis Association and is a game of skill, and sometimes, luck .
HOW IT WORKS!
FWTA is a game of points. You have 100 points minimum (or up to 105 depending on your ranking - more on this later) to split between three sets. For instance, you could use the combination of 20-30-50, or 40-0-60, whatever you think will win.
The difference between points in a set is calculated as follows: -
If x equals the more points you have than your opponent:
51+ - the set is 6-0
41-50 - the set is 6-1
31-40 - the set is 6-2
21-30 - the set is 6-3
16-20 - the set is 6-4
10-15 - the set is 7-5
7-9 - the set is 7-6(0)
6-7 - the set is 7-6(1)
5-7 - the set is 7-6(2)
4-7 - the set is 7-6(3)
3-7 - the set is 7-6(4)
2-7 - the set is 7-6(5)
1-7 - the set is 7-6(6)
If the points in any set are identical (i.e. 50 & 50 each, then it goes to a coin toss, with the first to win by two taking out that set)
So let's say Player A had 10-30-60 and Player B had 40-10-50.
Player A would win 3-6 6-4 7-5!
