she has to develop it...its not just in everyone. Justine was never, how you say, mentally tough....but she won charleston, won berlin, won the french....shes developed a mental toughness. Kim needs to learn how to win even when shes not playing her best tennis. Its something that she can develop over time.

Kim has won more titles this year than anyone else, been in more finals and reached 12 semi's or better in 12 events... sheesh, what do players have to do to please you people - win five out of the last six Slams - oh no, then everybody hates you don't they. Jeez, how can you win here?

You sound like John McEnroe at Wimbledon when he said "I think Clijsters played very well to get to that point(being up 6-4, 3-2 with a break), and she is moving along nicely in her career, these are the Williams sisters, who are already two of the best players to have ever lived."

It's true that the Williams are two of the best that have ever lived, but at some point Kim has to get over the hump against a top player, and she is taking an awfully long time. Venus took a long time, but not this long, and she certainly wasn't going to take over the #1 ranking.
