Her old profile on Tennis Europe has a few interesting bio details. It seems she used to play under the American flag and, like Jannik Sinner, was also an active ski racer before focusing on tennis.

Citing Caroline Wozniacki as her fave player makes sense. I've seen her play a number of times now because I'm a bit of a junkie when it comes to the ITF streams website and she is fond of counterpunching with her backhand. Another hallmark of Knutson's game is her good net play. Unlike a lot of ITF girls she doesn't look completely lost when moving off the baseline.

As far as I'm aware she isn't defending that many points in the next few months, and a decent chunk of her ranking from last year was from two semi-final runs at 25k events. Could make qualifying for the French Open.

Knutson does not sound very Czech, is one of her parents American or British?

In a czech interwiew from year ago she said she is half American half Czech.
