After all this thing, that Jenifer is not the best player even if she is ranked#1 or someothers say she is, bla bla bla

I think that the ranking is a number system, and that doesn't mean that the best player is the higher ranked.

If you read the sports columns ( CNN, ESPN,etc) the specialist said the best player this year is Venus Williams.

But, I want everybody to sing up for your 5 best players.

1- Venus Williams<br />2- Lindsay Davenport<br />3- Serena Williams<br />4- Justine Henin<br />5- Jenifer Capriati

But, please, don't critic the others opinion. ok???

1. Lindsay - Playing great. W-Stuttgart, W-ZurichNot only has she won her last two tournaments, buit she beat Capriati, dokic, Mauresmo and Henin in the process.

2. Jenn - So little respect for the new #1! But I couldn't put her ahead of Lindsay after Lindsay just beat her. QF-Stuttgart, SF-Zurich

3. Seles - W-Bahia, W-Japan, W-Shanghai. And beat nobody doing it. Except Jelena.

4. Dokic - W-Tokyo, W-Moscow. Beat Clijsters at Tokyo

5. Clijsters - Won Leipzig

Mauresmo - Can't get out of her own way right now.

Henin - Hasn't won a tournament since June. Has lost in finals three times since then.

<br />To answer your question, Venus is currently ranked #4 on the computer rankings system, and #3 in the champions race. Serena is currently ranked #10 on the computer ranking system, and 9th in the champions race. That Adrian means that they had to have very good results to both be in the top ten and qualify for the year end championships. Whether they have played for two months or not isn't a factor. If it were than they wouldn't have those rankings or places. Not to mention that Venus has owned Lindsay in the past 2 years winning 8 out of 9 times. Venus made Dementieva swallow her words at IW, beating her at less than 100%, and Kim got beaten by a booed Serena. So I will stick with my earlier selection of.

Besides 9 months compared to 2 is stupid. Let's just throw out titles, head to heads, top ten wins, and GS showings why don't we. <br /> <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
