.......an I love it!

Lets face it......Kim draw did have players with a much better record at the US open then Justine draw......and still, kim managed to finish those matches in two straight sets.
Kim is the real Champ here and will win easily in two straight sets from Justine!

Draw Kim

Amber Liu USA 6-2 6-3
Laura Granville USA 6-1 6-1
Svetlana Kuznetsova RUS (27) 6-3 6-2
Meghann Shaughnessy USA (17) 6-2 6-4
Amelie Mauresmo FRA (5) 6-1 6-4
Lindsay Davenport USA (3) 6-2 6-3

Draw Justine

Aniko Kapros HUN
Silvija Talaja CRO
Saori Obata JPN
Dinara Safina RUS
Anastasia Myskina RUS (7) waited four days in the players lounge all day to complete here match against Mary Pierce ......and let here play again in the evening!!!
She was tired before the match.......and they didn't ask here if she wanted to play two matches.

So, Justine only faced one real opponent to reach the final............ were Capriati beat hereself

Why Sunday?

Who did have a catewalk up to the SF and who did spend the most hours in the players lounge during these rain delays? Kim or Justine?

Maybe its Kim fault that Justine didn't finish here SF in two straight sets?

Go Kim Go! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
So you don't want them to play on Sunday ?
sorry justine fans she is no american so they will not delay the final for her

Sorry but this thread is a bit silly..don't jinx Kim
Toontje,Toontje ----> Indeed Lack of Class

I would have seen Kim playing aigainst this Capriati and this crowd. I doubt Kim would have pulled this out.

Btw Toontje Kim had always had the easier draws than Justine until now. So no point to complaint.

please go look at the WImbledon draw, how Kim's was easier than Henins I don't understand. And don't say cause Henin got a serena semi cause Kim was seed number 2 so she couldn't have been in serena's half.
when kim beats the myskina's,shaugnessy's,amelie's,lindsay's,rubin's etc it's an easy draw but when others beat them they are tough. it's a fact of life

that probably means kim rules since she has no problems with them while others have to fight and fight;)

Did I say Henin had a difficult draw. No

I agree she had an easy draw. So nothing about double standards.
The fact is the last two years Justine mostly had very difficult draws in opposse to Kim who had the luck on her side.

So there's no point to started this thread.
Kim fans simply can' complain about that.
What are the odds of Kim Clijsters bottling another final?
Oh fed Cup I wasn't really referring to you, there are just so many people on this board who have said Davenport is an easy draw for Kim cause she owns her yet it would have been tough for henin to play her, and the same happens when kim plays other players to. It is a cakewalk draw when she beats them as 'she owns them' yet when others play them it isn't a cakewalk draw - now figure that one out

The crowd rooted for Capriati at stanford 1 1/2 months ago and Kim won.

You guess to much Fedcup!......whats your next excuse?
Toontje what are you doing??? You know, the match hasn't even started yet?!

To compare a crowd in stanford with a crowd in ny shows very much intelligence...
And you always use the word excuse, but i guess you don't remember the million posts you wrote about an injury time-out between sets anyway ??
oh boy, I'll laugh if Justine wins :D

The biggest moron on this board: TOONTJE!!!!!
well mauresmo and davenport weren't playing that well. from what i've seen of the 2 in this tournament justine looks unstopable. she's mixing power and angles on her groundies. she's serving powerfully (not sure on her 1st % though). she's volleyed quite well, she's fit and running a lot of balls down. she just has a really complete game. from what i've seen she has what it takes to beat the williams sisters consistently but some things do need working on. like she gets a run of games and then starts to do a lot of unforced errors in some matches. and i noticed that when capriati hit her groundies deep justine had trouble with them. i only saw the first set of their semi but from what i saw capriati was hitting a lot of her groundies not much further than the service line but on the occassions that she got them within a metre and a bit from the baseline justine had quite a bit of trouble but then jen hit another shortish ball and justine was back in it.

i reckon justine will win.
