GB have a reasonable opportunity, I think.
I was just thinking that. If bally keeps her head and anne keeps her form, they have quite a strong team comparatively.

I was a bit surprised myself when I saw Widjaja and Tulyaganova nominated! Maggie Maleeva last year too.

Widjaja said last year on Facebook that she has the desire to play but not to travel and that her body was not allowing her to compete at 100%. I thought Tulyaganova officially retired last year. She even attended a career options workshop for for retired tennis players in Miami last year.

To be honest though, no Uzbek or Indonesian player has matched their success since their retirements, so maybe they felt like going along just for the fun of it like Maggie did, and possibly getting a match or two in doubles. Or it might just be to help their relatively young teams in terms of guidance and experience.
