Soooo happy for Tatjana and ALG to win this decisive doubles and put Germany through to the SFs. :D
Fantastic for them to step in when the first guard opted out under the new captain. Very important win for Jens Gerlach as well!

At this Point Kerber and Goerges do have to play the SF for Germany to have any realistic chance though. Quite certain that they will.

Singles 1: Sabalenka d. Maria 4-6 6-1 6-2
Singles 2: Lottner d. Sasnovich 7-5 6-4
Singles 3: Maria d. Lapko 6-4 5-7 6-1
Singles 4: Sabalenka d. Lottner 6-3 5-7 6-2
Doubles: Groenefeld/Maria d. Marozava/Sabalenka 6-7 7-5 6-4 :inlove: :yeah:

Czech-Germany will be good if the top players are there

Should be a great semifinal.

The third set of the doubles had it all. Both teams with weaker players than usual, but it sure was a spectacle.

Tajtana Maria led the German team to the semifinals. :spit: The Germans may win it this year ...

The ITF do need to rethink the competition, though. It's losing relevancy every year.

Germany ! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

SF vs Czech Republic at home ! :hearts:

A great win from Grönefeld/Maria in doubles. Big respect for them ! :yeah:
They showed all their experience, a big heart. A huge fight from Anna-Lena and Tatjana
So happy for them. They were really nice/likeable as always in the interview. And very happy

Also a wonderful weekend for Antonia Lottner :worship:
Important win in her Fed Cup debut. She showed that she is a big talent
And to close her Fed Cup debut with a victory overall, this can't get any better

Belarus

A close, painful loss
Really a shame that Sasnovich was ill/injured

Why because Sharapova isnt playing

There were a lot of great close finishes. Some new players did well, like Kuzmova, Potatova, Lottner, Teichmann, Danilovic, even Lapko

Just a small adjustment for Singles 3. Maria has won the third set 6-0 and did not lose a game;)
