Past and recent US Open celeb spectators:
Alec Baldwin (big fan of Monica)
Kim Basinger
Sophia Loren (watched Jim Courier one year)
Helen Hunt
Matthew Modine
David Schwimmer
Eddie Cahill
Justin Timberlake (Nsync)
Lance Bass (Nsync) (Claimed to like Anna Kournikova)
Tom Cruise (he met Cara Black at Wimby once)
Nicole Kidman
Robin Williams (also plays Andre and Pete's charity matches out in LA)
Billy Crystal (as above with Robin Williams)
JFK Jr.
Darryl Hannah
Clint Eastwood
Charlton Heston is an avid fan and player.
Matthew Perry watches the LA tourneys quite frequently. He was a former junior player himself.
Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) attended Wimbledon this year.
Seal the British singer has attended several American events and Wimbledon a few times.
Elton John has been seen at Wimbledon a few times.
Liz Hurley attended that charity event outside Buckingham Palace, that infamously spawned the Kournikova comments that Liz was ugly. I don't think Liz is a big tennis fan. She seems to turn up at a lot of events in her spare time.
Andy Dick attended Andre and Pete's charity event out in LA. Not sure if he participated or just watched. Not sure if he's even into tennis.
Brooke Shields' grandfather, Frank Shields was a former player who reached a Grand Slam final, or at least participated in a Grand Slam event. Not too sure. Brooke used to play Chris Evert's charity event annually. It was said that with a little coaching, she could've been a decent player.
Michael Bolton also played Chris' charity event for a number of years.
I can't remember his name (does that still qualify him as a celebrity?), but the producer of the Oliver Stone movie "Heaven & Earth" organizes his filming schedule around the Grand Slam events because he likes to attend them. Maybe it was Oliver Stone himself (???).
Craig Kilborn is a big Kournikova fan. But that's probably the extent of his interest in the sport. Oh wait, he did have Andy Roddick on his talkshow once. Or was that Jay Leno? Confused.
Jay Leno has had the Williams sisters on his program before, I think.
David Letterman seems to be a big fan of tennis players in general. He's had a whole slew of them on his show. Sampras, Davenport, Graf, Rafter, and Safin, to name a few. And Letterman seems to know his shit when it comes to tennis players. Or is that his research team?
Emma George, the former world record-holding polevaulter attends the Hopman Cup regularly now that she trains and lives in Perth. She's attended the last two finals.
Ian Thorpe attended the Adidas International this year, and then the Australian Open. Not sure if it was a new interest thing, or a Martina "Human Interest" Hingis thing. As if.
Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) apparently likes playing tennis. He once said that he played tennis every day now that he has moved in with Stephen Daldry, the director of "Billy Elliot." Daldry owns a mansion with swimming pool and tennis courts.
