"Le Top-Cent" Ce Francais Québecois est tres intéressant.

I'll provide a loose translation of what they're saying. Be warned, my French is terrible. I can't make out a couple of the questions. She speaks French slowly with simple vocabulary (probably from lack of practice) so she's easy for me to understand.

First Interview; In the media scrum:

TVA Reporter: *Inaudible* entering the top 100 finally?
A: It's a special moment, something I've wanted to do but I have a long road ahead of me, It's not finished.

TVA: What are your objectives for this 2013 season?
A: I prefer not to think of results as objectives. I'd like to get higher in the rankings but my objectives are improving my game on court. I think my game was good in Charleston. I'd love to just keep improving my game.

RDS Reporter: *Can't make it out*
A: No, I've always believed in myself so when results came, it arrived.

RDS: Question on doing well on clay recently and about surfaces
A: I feel its good, I've done well on grass which is a faster surface. I feel I can play well on all surfaces.

RDS: On Wozniak being hurt and the possibility of being the top-ranked Canadian player.
A: Yes It's a goal but Aleks is a very good player. I hope she's back soon. We'll miss her at Fed Cup.

RDS: On her Fed Cup expectations
A: I hope its like last time. We had good results in Columbia. There was a good team energy. Hope for the same in Ukraine.

TVA: You've played some top players recently. What are your thoughts on facing them?
A: Yes its great I get to play against the Top 10/20. Ideally I want to test myself against them every week if I could. Playing them will give me a chance to improve. All the games are difficult they are very strong. It's always a battle.

TVA: Did you watch the Davis Cup this weekend?
A: Yes I know they played well, its our turn now.

TVA: Cant make it out
A: It's one on one but I'm proud of perhaps being the leader of the team. I'll encourage my team-mates and hopefully help Canada.

She says much the same stuff in the sit down.

She's excited about getting in RG and Wimbledon MD, her first grand slams. Emphasizing she expects to be able to achieve more. They discuss the competitiveness of reaching top 100, Tauziat as coach, finally Fed Cup.

Okay native French speakers should correct me before I start a diplomatic incident. :bounce:

A: Yes its great I get to play against the Top 10/20. Ideally I want to test myself against them every week if I could. It allows me to test my competitiveness against them. And I know perhaps I should improve the consistency of my shots. All the games are difficult they are very strong mentally. It's always a battle.

TVA: Did you watch the Davis Cup this weekend?
A: Yes I know they played well, its our turn now. We want to follow in their steps.

TVA: Raonic is really the headliner (tête d'affiche) player among the male players. You seem to be already the headliner player among the women's players. Do you feel the pressure?
A: No, it's an honor. I'm proud of perhaps being the leader of the team. I'll encourage my team-mates and hopefully help Canada.

Don't worry, you did a great job with your translation  I added some details and corrected a few things, but you did quite well. You're right, Eugenie speaks a relatively simple French with very good pronunciation. All in all, it must be easy to understand her for someone with basic skills in French.

Every time I hear her in an interview, I am struck by the maturity that emanates from this young woman. She's always very calm and she has some strong introspection skills. She's really fascinating.

Not videos, but audio of Genie's Official Interviews posted on the Fed Cup site for this past Tie against the Ukraine.

Friday
http://www.fedcup.com/en/news/articles/bouchard-will-play-first-in-kiev.aspx

Saturday
http://www.fedcup.com/en/news/articles/level-pegging-in-kiev.aspx

Sunday
http://www.fedcup.com/en/news/articles/canada-returns-to-world-group-ii.aspx

The Friday interview is especially informative into her mindset when she goes on to court. "She's an emotional player. I want to exploit that". TMI Genie. That might be taken as a bit impudent and b*tchy... but now I'm wondering what she thought when she played Robson.
