The press is always looking for a good story, so I am not surprised that they have made that comment about Hingis. I agree that it is a bit too soon to hand Martina the "comeback kid" status until she has won something. Maybe because Martina has such great results in Australia that the press is trying to make a prediction? I like Martina but she is going to have to win a slam before she deserves to be called the comeback kid.

Personally, I think playing so well after a very serious ankle injury is a comeback. Also coming back with that beautiful smile on her face is refreshing. She seems to have changed spiritually and emotionally while she was gone. Perhaps it was nearly freezing to death around x-mas, seeing the WTC fall, or whatever, it's really nice. Has she comeback - hell yeah!

Martina suffered injuries last year and struggled to win titles thus falling to four in the world. She is coming back and tonight's win was NOT OVER an "AGING PLAYER" (who by the way routinely pushes and sometimes beats top players!!)
