Jankovic likes her Rancho Santa Fe digs

Jankovic bought a piece of property in ritzy Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego in 2009 and began construction on a 20,000-foot house with a pool, eight bedrooms, a 10-car garage, gym, tennis court and theater in 2010. She was planning on moving in by the end of 2010, but construction was delayed. She visited the property on Thursday as she is playing at the nearby Mercury Insurance Open and says it should be habitable by the end of this year as only "the furniture is not there yet."

“I just need furniture,” said the Serbian and world’s former No. 1-ranked tennis player.

Jankovic visited the house Wednesday and got some unusual looks from the complex’s security guards, who apparently didn’t believe someone 27 years old could afford to move into the neighborhood.

“They were looking at me like, ‘Get out of here,’” said Jankovic. “I had on a cap and sunglasses. Even my mom couldn’t recognize me dressed like that.”

Jankovic was embarrassed to say how big the house is. She said it includes a tennis court on one side, a pool on the other. Number of bedrooms: eight.

“It’s too big for my own good,” Jankovic said. “The good thing is if I have guests, I don’t have to see them. We’ll need walkie-talkies.”
I bet she will invite Ana to be her guest all the time :inlove:
