I hope Eleni doesn't disappoint her Polish fans because this whole year she has been playing like shit!!!. Can't wait for the grass court season. Meanwhile, Eleni fix that horrific serve of yours!:banghead::banghead::armed:

Strange, now she's seeded #5  Anyway, Eleni will face Dragomir Ilie Ruxandra (ROM) tomorrow in the last match on Court 1. I'll be there and I'll be loud :bounce: :bounce: Damn, I'm so happy to see her again after more than 7 months!

forever_rafter, if possible can you give us a summary of eleni's match with lots of details about her serve, winners, etc.... I hope she can get out of the slump she is in with a convincing win against an opponent she really should not have a problem with.... Yet again we are talking about eleni so you never know. Nonetheless, I still think she's great and will always support her tennis.;)

Hi guys. Brrrrr, it's so cold in Warsaw, about 10 C. I didn't see Eleni's practice but I heard she was in a great mood. For sure in much better than during the match. She was so cold, she played in long pants and I really felt sorry for her although I was damn cold too. What can I say, her serve looks better, she usually has a slow start but improves while the match progresses. She was hitting the ball quite well, played not bad at the net too. She should have won the 2nd set 6-3 but lost focus and managed to win it 7-6. She looked very tired and very unhappy. She lost her temper once and threw a racquet on the court, she didn't smile at all, I wonder why she was upset. After the match my friend asked her for a photo with him and she said "sure" and for the first time flashed this famous smile of hers :) I almost felt as if the sun came out of clouds. I hope she'll be happier tomorrow and I hope it will be at least a bit warmer as the temperature is like in February right now.

Here are some photos for you, it's cloudy so they're a bit dark

You know, I still can't believe Eleni lost to Vaculenko. She won the 1st set quite easily, in the second everythinh changed, Vaculenko was more aggresive and played harder while Eleni wasn't serving well at all. In the 3rd both had problems with service, Eleni had a few really good chances to end this match as a winner but didn't take them and on a few occasions she looked absoletely confused and lost. I was so sorry for her, many people cheered for her, some in Greek like me and two ladies behind me. I've waited for 7 months for this tournament ended for me before it even started
I took some pics, here you are.

I don't know the answer for this question. I wanted to talk to Judith but didn't happen to meet her. Eleni flew to Greece yestarday (I suppose) and maybe a few days spent with her family will make her happy and she'll come back stronger for Berlin next Monday.
