Eléonora is a 17 year old from Luxembourg and has some really impressive results on the ITF pro circuit. In January this year, she won $15,000 Antalya beating Yuka Hosoki, Julia Stamatova, Yana Morderger, Lisa Mativiyenko and Vlada Koval in the final.

Her next tournament was $25,000 Grenoble where she reached the final coming through qualifying. She lost to Fiona Ferro in a tight match. This week she's played $15,000 Amiens. She's through to the final where she will play top seed Katarina Zavatska. The final is this afternoon.

On 12 February 2018 Molinaro reached her best singles ranking of world #509. Best of luck to her in the future!

QF: (4) Eléonora Molinaro d. Angelica Moratelli 6/4, 6/0

After 3/4 in the first set, Eléonora won 9 games in a row.

In the SF, she will face Emma Lene (also 18yo, WTA 893), who had to battle almost 3h against qualifier Justine Pysson.

Eleonora is getting really consistent results on the 15k and 25k level, most of her wins are in straight sets. I hope she can get to top 250 by the end of the season and be able to play in her first Grand Slam qualy in 2019.

Another impressive win.

In the final she will face (1) Marie Benoit or (3) Marine Partaud.

Molinaro def Partaud 6-2, 6-1 for her 2nd career title

She went 7/9 on BPs for the match. Eleonora has caught fire in France!
She should be in the 455ish range once the points are added.

Amazing!

BTW, this was Eléonora's 5th final this year, 3 on the pro tour and 2 on the junior circuit.

Going through entry lists, I've seen that Eléonora does not play next week (she certainly deserves some rest) and has entered the ITF Junior Grade 2 tournament in Florence from March 28 to April 2. She would be seeded #2 with her current #73 junior ranking.

So make sure to follow the junior results as well.
