First set was perfect from Keys, until her legs got a bit more heavy/lazy, and she started to miss a bit more, helped by Wang's growing tenacity in the rallies.

Wang was leading 4-2 in the second set until Keys came back nonetheless.

I hope Madison's confidence and fitness grow match after match. To me, beside her extraordinary shotmaking, she needs to care about her footwork, all the time.

Go Madison! :cheer:

I don't know what to get with Madison sometimes. Can be brutalising and other times she looks clueless.

She's carried forward her good form from the Australian Open.

The conditions here could cause her game a bit of trouble. But so long as Halep isn't fit (?), she has a great chance to go deep here.

It's a real pity for Keys that she isn't physically marketable - she'd be enormous otherwise.
I’m sure Keys is just fine winning matches, tournaments and reaching slam finals, rather than being “physically marketable”...
