Cibulkova/Pavlyuchenkova is always a good match-up (h2h is 7:3 for Domi now).
This was also a good win for Cibulkova, she played well today.
But she will play Garcia next, so I doubt there is a chance for her to reach a good result / defend her semifinal from 2017. We will see.

Pavlyuchenkova has the best strokes, but Cibulkova has better movement and balance, thus makes less UEs and gets the edge. All in all, the latter's career results show she's been the best competitor so far. One slam final, one YEC trophy... she belongs to my all time top 100.

Domi thought about retirement I've heard, so it may be her last year of competition, I don't know. She may plan to make a big win this year. Doha may be a drawing board of sort.
