Another WTF result from McHale

But Pera has a big game from what I saw @ the AO so I guess if she's playing well she'll be hard to beat!

But still expected Xtina to win more games here, 3 games is just :help:

Bernie!!! Love seeing her get some results away from ITF! She has a nice game, just happy she is starting to put it together more.
Xtina though... she is struggling hardcore

Like Pera, watched her play a few ITF events in Italy in 2015 and thought she was talented.

Followed her results since then and never understood why she was losing all the time to scrubs.

So is McHale's career over?

Her start to 2018:
l. Townsend 6-1, 4-6, 4-6 in Auckland
l. Bondarenko after retiring in Sydney
l. Sasnovich 3-6, 2-6 in Melbourne
l. Jamie Loeb, 2-6, 4-6 in Newport Beach
w. against Anastasia Vasylyeva, 6-3, 6-0 (ranked 402 in the world) in Doha
l. to Bernarda Pera, 3-6, 0-6 in Doha

Her career must be one of the strangest ever. Was in Top 30 for some months in 2012, then out of Top 100 the next year, before climbing back and remaining ranked in the 50-70 range ever since. It seems like all those chokes must have finally taken their toll.

I'm sure it doesn't help that everyone calls her McFail. I hope she gets her confidence back soon, or you might be right about her career being over.

Don’t forget almost beating Serena at Wimbledon
