First of all, pardon my ugliness. Especially it was hot, humid, and I was covered with sunblock to become oily mess. 0
I didn't manage to get a selfie with Masha . Too many fans there, pushing and squeezing each other. After I failed to get the selfie, I immediately took her autobiography book that I bought and read 2 years ago. I know how important this book is to her (according to her instagram story posts h. And when she saw my book, she signed it immediately first thing, skipping all the other endless balls and posters from other fans h::spit:

I can’t believe I FINALLY met Maria Sharapova (@mariasharapova) of Russia today after her practice session at @Rogerscup 2019. She was right in front of me and I was totally starstruck. ? I don’t think she needs any introduction either as she is one of the biggest tennis superstars and was the highest paid female athlete in the world for so many years. She is the 2004 Wimbledon Champion, 2006 US Open Champion, 2008 Australian Open Champion and 2 times Roland Garros Champion (2012 & 2014), highest ranking of world no. 1 and the 2012 London Olympics Silver medalist ?. She already won every single one of the 4 grand slam tennis tournaments (Wimbledon, Roland Garros, US Open and Australian Open). She was the reason I started following tennis back then in 2004 when she won Wimbledon at the age of 17 and became a tennis sensation. I basically followed almost her entire career from her rise to superstardom during her teenage years to now towards the tail end of her career (she is 32 now). My quest to finally meet her in person was a loooong and painful one lol starting from Beijing tournament back in 2011 where she withdrew due to injury and then every single year since 2012 she failed to compete in Toronto tournament due to various reasons and the only times she competed at Rogers Cup, it happened to be in Montreal ?, until this year. ? Didn’t manage to get a selfie with her because the huge crowd of her fans were crazy and we were squeezing and pushing each other ?, but I did manage to get her autograph. ? #RogersCup ?

When my ultimate favourite female tennis player Maria Sharapova (@mariasharapova) signed her autograph on her autobiography book that I bought in 2017. ? Especially after such a long struggle to finally meet her in person lol. PS: This autobiography of her is very inspiring btw. ?? #RogersCup ?

With Jelena Ostapenko (@jelena.ostapenko) of Latvia, the 2017 Roland Garros Champion & highest ranking of world no. 5 so far, after her practice session at @Rogerscup 2019. She rocks because she actually grabbed my phone and pressed the selfie for us, resulting in a better selfie because of the position. ???? #RogersCup ?

With Angelique Kerber (@angie.kerber) of Germany, the 2016 Australian Open Champion, 2016 US Open Champion, 2018 Wimbledon Champion, highest ranking of world no. 1 and 2016 Rio Olympics Silver medalist ?, after her practice session at @Rogerscup 2019. I looked like a total mess here because of the heat, humidity and sunblock lmao. ? #RogersCup ?

With Venus Williams (@venuswilliams) of USA, after her practice session at @Rogerscup 2019. I don’t think she needs any introduction lol as she is one of the huge tennis superstars. But ok, she is 5 times Wimbledon Champion (2000, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008), 2 times US Open Champion (2000, 2001), and highest ranking of world no. 1. She is still playing at the age of 39! So much respect for her. ?? #RogersCup ?

With Ashleigh Barty (@ashbar96) of Australia, our current world no. 1 and the reigning Roland Garros Champion 2019, after her practice session at @Rogerscup 2019. The unintentional photobomb is real in this photo. ? #RogersCup ?
Notes: I attended Serena's practice session twice on the centre court. On Saturday, she skipped my whole row when signing autograph. On Sunday, she ignored ALL the fans and went straight in to the locker room. On Sunday, Kuznetsova ignored ALL fans and went straight to the locker room, while Wozniacki skipped 1 row (my row).
probably could do with this thread to keep all the videos together and leave the photos thread for photos...
Nouf might repost some of his vintage Mvids in here as well...they are a must for Maria fans especially the ones from Wimby, USO & RG 2004, as well as the offcourt ones.
