Scamila escaped to the USA apparently — it turns out both she and her family either never submitted any tax returns or never did it properly. And she's an officially wanted person on the run. That's no different from a fugitive in my book. And she's evading not just regular (local) tax authorities but the feds (the armed and police-powered "Guardia di Finanza" who typically pursue the Mafia.

Camila is such an enigma. Obsessed with money and her appearance yet stubbornly resisting making the on and off court changes that would have won her more matche$, more sponsor$ and more fan$, and refusing to sort out the worst lipliner and bleach-fail rats nest barnet on the tour.
Breaking point should have followed Giorgi around.
There’s still time for a true crime drama starring Tara Reid, with Willem Dafoe as Papa Giorgi. Which I would watch the hell out of.

She trained in Buenos Aires before going to Australia and seemed fed up with tennis. Went to Australia with an Argentine coach who eventually did not get paid.
Who do they think they are, the Trump family?

Funny how her one fan on here was blindly sticking up for her in her “retirement” thread just the other day, even though everything we learn about her and her family is just further proof that they are scummy (and not very smart) people. Good riddance, the sport doesn’t need her.

She's a legend. An icon. She's a moment. One the most interesting player in last 20 years.
