I have no tolerance for SJWs. Can I demand they lose all their money now?
Don't know what world you live in but Christians are persecuted way more than gays. In the middle to the point of genocide. Even in Europe 800 churches where vandalised just in France last month. Just imagine the mainstream media attention if those were gay bars.Oh... Poor religious girl....... Probably suffered so much in her life for being a christian, what a burden that must have been.
You are misinformed. People who believe in the bible, literally believe it's the true word of God. It's timeless...space and time and modern society do not change it..the laws are set and for all eternity...if you choose to believe. Of course u can criticize. Thst is your free will.My friend who is very religious told me a few weeks ago that those lines are out of context. This whole chapter is about Jesus who freed the people from the sins.Um...not sure what the problem is. It is actually written in the bible that people who engage in those things are sinners and going to hell. She "liked" it...she isnt wrong for liking the post. In fact, I think the person targeting her is bullying her and being intolerant of her religious views.
There are other more accurate lines when Bible tells about homosexuals, but they are extremely outdated and not suitable for 21th of century as beating your children or women that has to be silent. People who interpret Bible directly are living mentally in times from over 2 thousand years ago. That's their choice, but other people have a right to criticise or approve it. It's freedom of speech.
No, it isn't "like" that. :tape:Isn't that like saying if Trump posted the same comment, and I liked it... ya, just supporting another New Yorker. Um....
Being shot and killed is violence where is the manufactured polarization of statingI was only interested in stats and the violence is not nearly as polarized gender-wise as is often presented.
The manufactured polarization seems to be employed as a political tool rather than as a genuine attempt to address the issue and have healthier families.
K.Don't even want to waste much words on this
Will mark her down as homophobes and blacklist her
Certainly, reducing suffering and injustice is a worthy cause (and you have a right to advocate for whomever you wish).Being shot and killed is violence where is the manufactured polarization of stating
About every 16 hours, a woman is shot and killed by a former or current partner in the USA?
Unless you have the time and energy to call out all injustice - which most people do not.
I asking all men to give their 1st bit of energy to the injustice affecting the most number of humans - which is women.
Is that an unreasonable request on a Women's Tennis Forum?
Shouldn't the cartoon have portrayed stereotypically Muslim-looking characters? Then it would have rung much more true.
In the US, there are christian sects who promote hatred towards gays. The best known is the Westboro Baptist Church, which runs the website godhatesfags.com (that domain name sums up their argument)
He's the type of person, I bet, who deplores the term "toxic masculinity", yet abhors the public treatment of male domestic violence victims.Being shot and killed is violence where is the manufactured polarization of stating

Projection on your part.Certainly, reducing suffering and injustice is a worthy cause (and you have a right to advocate for whomever you wish).
But you came into this thread essentially disapproving of the attention given to the suffering of OTHER people whose plight you happen not to care about.
Therefore, I felt the need to inject a little perspective.
There is a lot of suffering going around, not only the suffering that interests you personally.
In response to this you made some red-herring posts about under reporting and said that violence is female vs male very similar.A woman liking a post which was critical of 8 category of "sins" (1/8 being homosexuality) gets more push back for it then those actually calling women's tennis inferior to men's tennis on a Women's Tennis Forum.
Sexism is bigger problem then Homophobia, homosexuals can be safe in the closet and still carry on their life without danger, there is no such closet for Women.

In the United States, more than one in three women report experiencing abuse from a partner in their lifetime.1 The effects of this abuse are far-reaching, impacting not only individual victims, but also their families, their communities, and our economy. When domestic abusers have access to guns, the effects can be deadly. This nexus between guns and domestic violence makes the US the most dangerous country for women compared to other high-income countries.
USA is no worse then rest of the World.
Shame on all men but particularly on all those men who give more push back against homophobia then they do on Sexism. Including those like George Clooney.
Cuz you’re a drama queen... That’s pretty simple to explain.I'm gay, but I just went and liked that post on IG. :bigwave:
When this news broke, all his colleagues were judged based on who liked the post. Because liking it basically meant you stood in solidarity with him against his termination.Israel Folau's homophobic statements have been top sports news recently in Australia, so I think his IG followers know that he's extremely controversial (to put it mildly)

Once you realise someone's arguing in bad faith, leave them be. You're wasting your life energy.
TF has taught me this essential life lesson.
It's more to do with culture than the religion. I come from a country in Africa with a 50-50 Christian to Muslim population where Christians hate gay people as much as Muslims and elected representatives passed legislation with unanimous support criminalizing homosexual unions/relationships with 14 years imprisonment.Brilliant example of false equivalency. Westboro Baptist Church represents a sliver of a sliver of a sliver of religious people in the U.S. whereas homophobia is deeply ingrained in the fabric of Muslim countries.
This is garbage as are half the replies on this thread and the moderators should be ashamed for letting such homophobia and trans-phobia run rampant on the forum. The two biggest religions on earth are Christianity and Islam, between them they have 4 billion followers, over half the world's population, both of these religions are essentially, Anti-Gay and deliver Anti Gay messages within their religious texts, there are many tennis players past and present who belong to these religions who think exactly the same way as Court and Falou, why wouldn't they if they are Christians or Muslims? it's what it teaches them, therefore if you think some top players are Not Anti Gay simply because they've never come out and said so then you are naive. Margeret Court and Falou are/were simply relaying their beliefs based on their religion and anyone criticising and haranguing them for stating what their religion has taught them is also criticising half the world and many other prominent tennis stars.
For what it's worth as a straight person who is not religious....I think there's already too much hate in the world to tell two people not to be together because they're the same sex, you cannot deny what you are, it's not a choice it's your natural.
There's no point taking exception to the likes of Court/Falou because you might as well go straight to the source and start criticising the two major religions, they're simply 2 of 3.9999999 billion followers who think the same way.
Liking homophobic posts and telling someone to get focked when confronted about it is definitely important, Mauriac. Why on earth would she do that? Personally I don't supervise what people like or not, but since someone saw it and brought to public attention, it's pretty revealing of who the girl is and I don't think she should get a pass until (if) she explains it.
The point is that if everyone treated Facebook 'likes' with the lack of seriousness they deserve, especially when made by by a 19 year old who hardly anyone has heard of, there would be nothing to get upset about. If everyone got into a state very time someone likes a post they themselves found offensive the world would be in a state of total and permanent meltdown.I agree that it's not important until it starts promoting hate speech. Which Aiava did and when comfronted brushed away the problem..
Maybe she should've spent more time on the practice court and less on instagram cause Di Giuseppe took care of her in Wimbledon Q1 in 2 sets, so she'll have plenty of time to join a Homophobic Rally in her time off.
Another trash reply. This post is a dick move. Homophobes don't get a pass ever.Policing sports players' social media trying to dig up "dirt" that doesn't fit their agenda is a dick move.
Oh god, another trash homophobic reply. Moderators? Anyone?Um...not sure what the problem is. It is actually written in the bible that people who engage in those things are sinners and going to hell.
