Not sure Cornut has ben that great of late but good to see Dayana getting some wins.

This is the first tournament that Dayana has won 3 consecutive matches since Madrid last May. Completely different match against Cornet than their last meeting in Cleveland in August 2022.

It was actually 26 tournaments played in the year.

Dayana has drawn Anna Lena Friedsam in Round 1 in Austin, not the worst draw she could have got, certainly winnable.

Would play the winner of Dart/(2)Zhang in Round 2.
