A much more intelligent and insightful commentator than the Ice Queen. I'm listening to Davenport now and she is spot on, even throws a tad bit of shade every now and then.

Anyone else agree?

Yes Davenport is better, and Chrissie is normally awful (and I watch ESPN 3 anyway to avoid watching ESPN TV exclusively). But from what I heard of her today, Chrissie was actually been a little better than usual. I hope she keeps it up.:oh:

Evert has been better. But it's early, there's plenty of time.

The shade she throws at Shriver is hilarious, probably because Martina actually liked Pam. :hysteric:

This is the time I show my age and reminisce about HBO's coverage of Wimbledon.

HBO covered Wimbledon ? when ? lol. who used to commentate ?
I watched in the early '90s. Arthur Ashe, Billie Jean, and even Martina Navratilova, in between winning matches

Cinematic views of the courts, at linesman sight. You felt you were right there.

OMG That sounds so nice. I wish they would cover Wimbledon again.

Whats the use of having a Tennis channel if they can't cover GS's live ? Why can't ESPN/TC share coverage and let the viewers have more options to watch exhaustive coverage especially in the early rounds ? Just doesn't make sense. :weirdo:
