Looked like she was going to double-bagel Broadus as she went 6-0 4-0* up, but then the match turned out to be a very competitive one. :scared: Dasha won 6-0 4-6 6-4 in the end, congrats on not completely checking out after getting shoved an invisible bagel in the 2nd set. :yeah:

Facing a rested Kalaitzis, who dragged (13)Delai yesterday, for a spot in the MD :armed: :cheer:

She played a girl who is a year older and ranked higher and the match still came down to a few points. I'm sure she'll find many positives about the match later on :yeah:

Still in doubles :cheer:

R32 Matilda MUTAVDZIC (GBR) (WC) d. Daria FRAYMAN (RUS) 4-6 6-3 6-3

It seemed as if Daria had difficulty breathing during the match. She took a pill of unknown origin in third set and looked more and more drained as the match went on, while Matilda, who is quite talented, got better and more confident.

Dasha through to R3 of Junior USO :)

She upset (11)Mananchaya Sawangkaew (same age, #17, WTA 613) 1-6 6-2 6-3 in R1 and Mélodie Collard (16 yo, #48) 2 & 2 in R2 today  :worship:

She had beaten Collard, who's had a breathrough year, 6-2 5-7 7-6(5) in R1 of the J1 in Canada last week

It's a little surprising for me!
Though, congrats!
I wonder how she has such a shaky technique, while she has really good height, structure..
Her serve looks as her better shot.
