Her next big tournament will be Filderstadt. For her it will be sth. special to come back to a place, where she celebrated afterwards her firtst time in the Top 10.
She came into the final without losing a set! In the final she lost after a great match 64, 36, 46 against Kim Cljsters.

On another point, what the hell is the WTA doing wheeling-out Dani and Jelena for the Eurosport bus promotion?

Like they don't get enough crap about modelling vs. tennis already, now their own paymasters are selling them out for the sake of some publicity!!

Of course we shouldn't be surprised when the head of the WTA is trying to get 16yr olds to play full tour schedules...

Hang on, Clijsters was on fire she was playing really well, i've not seen the match yet but listening on the radio the commentator said that Clijsters was playing almost flawless tennis and there wasn't a great deal Dani could do, they also that Daniela was playing ok but Clijsters simply had all the answers and more.

i actually saw the match on tv... and yes Kim played great, but Dani was playing crap

She didnt even try out there.

I refuse to believe that Dani played well. When she gets broken at love, repeatedly, it means she did not play well.

I didn't see the match, but judging on the scoreline, if Daniela was play any decent tennis, the scores would have been closer.

YEAH I was cheering and clapping for her.... You know (or maybe not

), that I also like how she plays. After she was upsetting Lindsay in such a great way in the final of A. Island I became a fan of her game. The only think I can't love is her serve.... There she has alot of work. If she can improve it, she will be stay in the Top 10 or even reach a Top 5 pos. in the ranking.
She played a suberb first set but the referre took the game from her.....
