Terrific results at the JPMorgan after a massive slump of first round losses.

Before anyone jumps the gun and says she hasn't beaten a top 10 player to make the quarters, It was only 3 weeks ago I was saying she should retire from singles and play doubles.

What I said then was harsh and appears more harsh now LOL

Good luck against Schiavone, a great opportunity to break back into top 50, although will be a tough match as any QF of this standard is.

I wish they showed the Qualy Draw at the site as well so I could see how hard her Qualy matches were.

Anyway Nicole...good luck!!!

(ps...I didn't jump the bandwagon because I was never on it, nor now, I just think it's exciting for any battler at her age to get great results, no-matter what Nationality)

Cheers Kirt :wavey:

I'm surprised she's playing well in LA. Looks like she's starting to turn her year around. The obstacle for her is maintaining the standard.
