Clijsters didn't achieve what Navratilova achieved with 50 years!
Both said good-bye at the US-Open: Clijsters 2012 and Navratilova 2006.
Both played in the mixed doubles event with Mike Bryan and lost in doubles earlier (while Navratilova reached the quarters with Petrova).
But Navratilova was able to retire with a Grand-Slam-title in mixed doubles a few weeks before a 50th birthday.
What do you think? How important would it have been for Clijsters to say good-bye with a title?
