One of the big highlights of my trip to Charleston was getting to see the Yan/Zheng team play live in person. This was the match vs. Schnyder/Moriaru, and while the entire crowd was supporting Schnyder and had probably never heard of Yan/Zheng, I was so happy and excited to see Yan/Zheng finally after following them as a doubles team for over a year!
Yan was making a lot of mistakes on volleys, but was strong on serve and baseline. Zheng was strong all around, even after playing a singles match just a couple of hours earlier.
I learned Zheng Jie's name is not pronounced as I had said it to myself it all this time

; it is pronounced Zhong Jee-ay.
Who they will face in the final is being played right now: Dulko/Pennetta are up a set over Peng/Sun, but Peng/Sun are up a break in the second.
