Isn't it well known that pushers and Ostapenko don't really get along well ? Ostapenko despises losing to pushers and basically considers them mediocre. And all the famous pushers are known to be big egoistic and arrogant idiots and they certainly didn't like Ostapenko looking down on them. I'd say they both deserve each other.

Wozniacki has always been spineless, self-conscious, goofy, toes the line and wants to please the crowd around her (except with her tennis).
She knows that Ostapenko isn't popular on the tour so she's an easy target.

I could see why you think that from just looking at the text of what she said, but she didn’t mean it like that unfortunately.

I believe the reason is that Ostapenko is not the ideal practice player. The way she plays her matches is the way she practices, she goes for the lines and does not give you any rythm. In practice players are looking to find their timing by hitting the ball back to each other more often. Ostapenko apparently doesn't do that. It's something that was talked about a few years ago where many players said they didn't like practicing with her.

I believe Agassi was the same even in warm ups.

To me it's humor with a bit of spice. You can make what you want of it, but it is a funny and realistic observation on different ways to play tennis.

People who hate Woz always need to feel the worse of it when only remains what she objectively said in the end.
