I know that she's been injured pretty much all year, and most of last year as well, but she's a beast in hard courts. She was just one set from the AO final this year against a red-hot in form Azarenka. In fact, she won more points than Azarenka in that match, and after playing a great second set, unfortunately played a dismal final set.

The USO suits her game more, and she's won her last three times there. 21 straight matches, and 27 of her last 28 played. She is a beast there, and won it fairly easily after coming back, and having been 'retired for over two years, in 2009.

No.
is Kim playing Montreal or Cincinatti as a warm up?
She isn't in the entry list of either . But I think she might end up playing one.

With the state of the tour the way it is, she has a chance. Albeit, a small one.

Not as dramatic, but I see an Agassi-style exit for her at the open. I think she's too injured to win more than a few rounds.
Sadly I agree. Plus no roof. Even if she made it deep into the tournament, she probably would have to play back to back days, and I don't think she can do that anymore.

Now that I think about it, the Olympic schedule won't help her abdominal injury either.
