They´ve reached another semis and avoided Ruano/Suarez on clay - now Callens/Loit coming up having beaten hot team of Huber/Maleeva

If Husarova fails to get a good partner in Paris, Sveta and Martina should be top8 seed in the next 2 Grand Slams and could well do damage there avoiding big teams in the early rounds

What a comeback for Martina :)

Callens/Loit will beat the shit out of them

Svetlana and Martina are ranked 17 and 18 as of today

They are also around 80 points clear in 4th position on the teams list.

The seeds for the French will depend on wether or not Elena D and Janette team again

Martina loses her Madrid win next week which might affect her ranking for Wimbledon if she isn´t to play Birmingham

I am not completely certain on this. So if I am wrong I am sorry.

I think the Madrid points are 130 and are replaced by 60 and her ranking would not be affected in anyway.

If they win tonight I would say that it is a definate case of Madrid having no effect.

I think it's a bit hard...you know.the year-end championship this year only accept 4 doubles team.

And I think if Williams' sisters keep playing in French Open and Wimbledon...it's sure they can gain one spot..so............
