Ok, is it already determined which half of the women's draw plays first on Monday at the Open? Maybe it has something to do with the defending champ but Serena isn't playing. Do we have to wait for the draw on Wednesday or will we not know until Sunday night? Thanks in advance. :wavey:

The defending Champions part of the draw plays on the first Tuesday is only at Wimbledon, no where else.

We won't know what side plays first until probably Saturday when the Scedule comes out.

It will all depend how the draw shakes out. If Agassi and Roddick were to wind up in the same half of the men's draw, and Williams and Capriati in the same half of the women's, they would obviously not want them playing on the same days. My guess is that the top half of the men's draw (with Agassi) will wind up starting on Tuesday and finishing on Wednesday, and be the half that lags a round behind the women, so Agassi will be available for that Thursday night quarterfinal (on a day with no women's singles). I would guess that whichever half Venus winds up in would play Tuesday.
