Sarah, Melanie, Katie and Rebecca will all need :help:

Anne's ok if she avoids a seed or a grass court specialist.

Naomi is a true wildcard...strong performance against Czink, seems to be a quick learner, and is enjoying the surface. We'll just have to wait and see who she gets and what she produces.

Keotavong could take out someone outside of the top 50 definatley if she is on her game but would need her opponent to have an off one too, maybe take out a seed like Arvidsson aswell, Max 3rd round for Anne. Borwell didnt beat Perry last yr and she isint gonna get more chances than that so 1st round exit is imminent in straight sets, O Brien could win a match but her game just doesnt have enough to do anything more. Wont beat a seed, Max 2nd round. Cavaday is a promising junior with a chance to win a match but its too early for anything more. Max 2nd round. South is on her debut and not many British girls have won their debut match at Wimby and what does she have to seperate her from the rest, not much so a first round exit in 3 sets if she's lucky

i know that cavaday is a rising star and has had great results this year in the UK and i should support her because of her natioanlity but i love sugiyama and i cant see sugiyama lose in the first round again, when she only has a few chances left. I'll have to back Sugiyama, Cavaday has many more wimbledons to come.

Keotavong has a chance. It depends on what Sprem shows up. Sprem could go out there and spray balls all over the place and lose in straights or could belt Anne off the court its a bit of a toss up since she hasnt played any grass warm ups to show us what her form is like

I am expecting F.A. - and that doesn't stand for Football Association.

I agree and I'm a Brit! Anne's performance was dire at Eastbourne.

I do wish Wimbly would stop giving places to no hopers. I know all the slams do. But every year seeing them all togged up in their white outfits, seeing them being interviewed on the BBC pre-match saying htey will give thier all, and then hearing on the news: 'We now have no players left in the women's side'.

But, I suppose it gives them a chance!

Katie has the best chance of winning by far!

horrible draw for the girls! Instead of Diaz Oliva, Castano and Smashnova they get Domachowska, Sprem and Sugiyama who all LOVE fast courts!

I really thought Anne, Sarah and Naomi could have won a round here but the draw was a BITCH to ALL brits inc men
