Re: BREAKING: Tatiana Golovin announces comeback
No way.
Can’t believe she has found some fire and motivation again. Truly hope she is physically ready for it!
On the other hand can’t believe how long she has been gone. The pic from my avi is 12 years old! Makes me feel old as well.

What the actual f is happening?
Amazing news. I really thought we'd never see her again!
I saw her live vs Shahar at the AO. I was team Shahar that day, but omg I loved Tatiana otherwise.

She needs to get a WC into Wuhan. Would love to see Li Na vs Kvitova as the final!

She’s still young and retiring at such a young age makes her tennis age young, can she do it, we shall see!
Honestly who next is going to comeback
Chakvetadze, Szavay, Kirilenko, Peer, Bartoli again?

Brilliant, her career was totally railroaded by injury. Hope she can play at a high level.

OK but wait....
Do career ending back injuries just disappear over time or was it all a sham?
Confused...

According to the translation...
Why choose to return to the circuit 11 years later?
I stopped because my body could no longer meet the demands of high performance sport because of my illness. But, for 18 months, I have been asked several times to come and talk about my illness. And meeting doctors on these occasions, I learned that there were treatments that could possibly allow me to come back. So while I was mourning my career at just 20 years old, maybe I can take it back today.

She'll have to start from scratch though. Much like Kimiko Date.

OH MY GOD Tati
One of my first ever faves as a kid, coming back after over a decade away from the sport, what is going on this week
I can’t believe this, the most excitement I’ve felt for most of this tennis season
